1. School District Scraps Planned Parenthood Sex Ed Program

Thank you parents! We had a capacity crowd at Cumberland County School Board meeting Tuesday night, where the school board voted, without comment, to end Planned Parenthood’s ‘Get Real’ sex ed program. This happened because you took action and had your voice heard!

“It got pretty descriptive as far as some of that information, our committee felt like it was simply not appropriate for our sixth-grade students,” said Tim Kinlaw, Cumberland County Schools Interim Superintendent, according to WNCN."

2. Pence slams Joy Behar, ABC News over ‘religious intolerance’

"Vice President Mike Pence delivered a jaw-dropping rebuke of ABC News after “The View” host Joy Behar compared Christianity to mental illness.

“To have ABC maintain a broadcast forum that compared Christianity to mental illness is just wrong,” Pence said Wednesday on C-SPAN. “It is simply wrong for ABC to have a television program that expresses that kind of religious intolerance.”

Behar’s anti-Christian remarks were in response to a segment on Omarosa Manigault Newman, the reality television star turned White House staffer turned reality television star.

"As bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence --- everyone that is wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life," Omarosa said in a clip from "Celebrity Big Brother.""

3. ‘Hateful content’? Twitter bans Christian radio interview opposing transgenderism

Twitter is censoring Ryan Anderson because of his views on sex and gender. They claim his interview with a Christian Radio station is "hateful content."

"Issues, Etc., a Christian talk radio show, attempted to run an ad on Twitter highlighting its February 7 interview with Anderson, the author of When Harry Become Sally: Responding to the Transgender Movement. Issues, Etc. was unable to do so because the interview allegedly violated Twitter’s policy against “hateful content.”"

4. Bermuda becomes first place to reverse course, repeal gay marriage

"The British territory of Bermuda has become the first jurisdiction to roll back same-sex marriage, less than one year after the unions were legalized by the socially conservative island’s supreme court.

Governor John Rankin signed the Domestic Partnership Act into law Wednesday reversing the rights of same-sex partners to wed. The legislation allows any couple to enter into a domestic partnership and gives same-sex couples similar rights to those enjoyed by opposite-sex couples. But such partnerships will not be legally recognized as “marriage.”"

5. Church Celebrates Transgender Pastor's Transition With 'Renaming' Ceremony

"On Sunday, a Lutheran church in New Jersey celebrated the female-to-male transition of a pastor with a renaming ceremony.

Transgender Pastor Rose Beeson of St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoboken was called "Peter" by Lutheran Bishop Tracie Bartholomew to mark the pastor's gender transition.

"I feel embraced by a cloud of saints," Beeson told ABC 7"

LORD, we cry out to you as Father. You are a beautiful Dad. You are a model of the love, mercy, and authority of the perfect parent. We thank you for modeling for us what every parent should strive for, and for creating this wonderful institution called family.

LORD, we thank you for creating us with a basic nature designed to not be alone. Our very nature calls us into the most intimate of relationships, where we experience joys indescribable: the joys of marriage, the joys of having children; the joys of seeing our children have children. What a blessing and mercy you gave us in the family! In it we find our first teachers, our first guardians, and our first authorities.

LORD, we recognize how deeply you love your children, and how deeply it pains you when they go astray. Alongside our adoration and thanksgiving, we pray in confession--as individuals and as members of larger communities--over any sins we may have committed that undermine your beloved institution. Forgive us when we endanger your institution through selfishness and arrogance. Forgive our communities and nation for attempting to redefine some of the most basic and deepest parts of being human--being made male and female, having lifelong marriage vows and responsibilities, and having parental rights over educating one's children.

LORD, we also bring these specific prayer requests to you, and pray that your Spirit may empower and protect our labor: LORD be with all the men and women who stood up for their family in Cumberland County, we thank you for their devotion to their children and family! Be with Vice President Pence as he stands up for those whom follow you oh LORD.. LORD we ask that you be with Ryan Anderson as he speaks truth about the Transgender issue, soften the hearts of those at Twitter who think he speaks hatefully and have them see he simply is standing up for the truth. Be with all of our families today, and we ask that your Spirit may empower us to be better fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and children.

“These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up." (Deut. 6:6-7)

". . . and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (2 Tim. 3:15-17)
