1. Billy Graham's Final Journey
"Evangelist Billy Graham, who preached to millions around the world in a 70-year career, will be laid to rest on Friday in his native North Carolina following a funeral service that will draw thousands of mourners including President Donald Trump.
The service for Graham, who died on Feb. 21 at age 99, comes after he lay in honor at the U.S. Capitol in recognition of a clergyman who counseled presidents and was the first noted evangelist to take his message to the Soviet bloc.
Graham will later be buried in a pine coffin made by Louisiana prison inmates next to his late wife, Ruth, at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, organizers said."
2. Senator Dan Bishop--the champion of privacy and safety in women's bathrooms and showers--draws primary challenger opposed to HB2
"Let’s see, Beth Monaghan contributed to Hillary Clinton, Roy Cooper, the NC Democrat Party, Julie Eiselt, and a Washington DC-based LGBT activist group; she wants to rehash the Charlotte bathroom ordinance; and she’s running as a Republican to unseat State Senator Dan Bishop. - Pay attention Charlotte!" - Tami Fitzgerald, NC Values' Executive Director
3. Fact Check on Pittenger's Political Ad Hitting Mark Harris Shows it to be False

4. Stop the Government Mandate FORCING Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers to Promote Abortions
Yesterday we shared, "a LIVE online event for the latest news — and to discover what YOU can do — about the pending NIFLA v. Becerra U.S. Supreme Court case challenging the coercive new law FORCING pro-life pregnancy centers to provide free advertising for tax-funded abortions."
We will make sure to keep a close look on this case as it moves forward and threatens our value for the most vulnerable among us, the unborn.
5. Filing Period ends in North Carolina: Competition in North Carolina legislative, Congress races
"When the filing deadline to run for North Carolina's congressional and legislative seats arrived Wednesday, Democrats made good on their plans to compete in every corner of the state.
Republicans likewise found candidates to challenge incumbents in Democratic strongholds they often conceded in previous cycles. Libertarians filed for more than 40 positions.
The result? More choices for voters. Unofficial candidate filing data forecast contested elections in November for at least 169 of the 170 General Assembly seats. And 12 of the 13 congressional seats also will have at least two candidates in the fall."
WEEKLY PRAYER: LIBERTY
LORD, you are the giver of life and liberty. You are the One in whom we find true freedom. We pray with the deepest of gratitude, because you've broken our chains of depravity, and have gifted us a freedom born in love and service.
LORD, may we not take our liberties lightly. Even today, our brothers and sisters all across the globe experience physical, emotional, and social torture because they rightly cry out: "JESUS IS LORD!" Every day, our brethren across the globe experience persecution, and this has been a shared story of the church since its inception.
LORD, we also bring these specific prayer requests to you, and pray that your Spirit may empower our petitions: Be with the Graham family as they mourn the passing of Rev. Billy Graham. Thank you that you have set Billy Graham free indeed, and that he resides in Heaven with you. LORD be with Sen. Dan Bishop as he faces this opposition within his own party by Beth Monaghan who has a track record of supporting values that are opposed to Yours. Be with us, and the least among us, as we work to protect the foundational and first freedom. Be with us as we advance and advocate for the chief liberty.
“For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2)
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)
