1. NC VALUES: Attend the NCVC & CWA Annual Day at the Capital, June 5th
While Democrats contradict Gov. Cooper by calling infanticide a 'choice', the NC House has announced they will be taking a vote to override Gov. Cooper's veto of SB359 this Wednesday!
State House Speaker Tim Moore (R-Cleveland) announced the House will hold a final vote to override Gov. Cooper’s veto of the "Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act" on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. "Gov. Cooper and Democrats don’t want to admit he vetoed a bill to save the lives of born alive little children – North Carolinians who are breathing on their own fully outside the womb – by contradicting themselves and claiming the practice does not exist when the evidence indicates it does,” Moore said.
This is where you come in. We need all of you who are able to join us this Wednesday for our Annual Day at the Capital, which will be happening the same day the House plans to vote!
2. NC VALUES: Tell your state legislators to oppose infanticide in NC by overriding Cooper's veto.

WEEKLY PRAYER: LIFE
LORD, we recognize that you are Sovereign over all creation. We recognize you made man from the dust, and in your mercy crowned creation with man and woman made in your image. What a wonder it is that you would bestow upon us this blessing and responsibility!
We pray LORD that we would not take this for granted. We pray that both this great responsibility, and this great dignity, may motivate us to love you more, love our neighbor more, and love ourselves more.
Father, we pray for all the pro-life bills moving through the NC House and Senate. We praise you for the Senate's vote to override Governor Cooper's veto. We now pray for the House to do the same. We also continue to pray that we may see other pro-life legislation pass and protect women and unborn babies. Help us, Lord, to rise to the call for action to show up at legislative rallies and committee meetings to show our legislators how strongly we support the right to life. Give our legislators courage to stand up for the unborn and to champion protecting the unborn as the centerpiece of their own public service. Never let us rest until we change our society so that it sees the value of life in the womb and abortion becomes unthinkable.
"And Moses said to the people, 'Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.'” (Exodus 14:13-14)
