1. CHARLOTTE OBSERVER: NC elections board refuses to certify Mark Harris' victory in 9th District congressional race

"The state board of elections Tuesday refused to certify the results of the 9th Congressional District election after one board member cited what he called “unfortunate activities” in the eastern part of the district.

It’s unclear what those activities involved or what the failure to certify might mean. The board discussed the matter in closed session.

Republican Mark Harris defeated Democrat Dan McCready by 905 votes.

Election board member Joshua Malcolm raised the issue in what was expected to be a routine certification of the results of North Carolina’s 13 congressional races. He asked the board to remove the 9th District from the list of those to be certified."

Democrats are calling for a full hearing, and possibly a new election.

2. RYAN T. ANDERSON: The New York Times reveals painful truths about transgender lives

"In Sunday’s New York Times, Andrea Long Chu writes a heartfelt and heartbreaking op-ed on life with gender dysphoria. Titled 'My New Vagina Won’t Make Me Happy,' the op-ed reveals painful truths about many transgender lives and inadvertently communicates almost the exact opposite of its intended argument."

3. BREITBART: Mom threatens child abuse charge against dad for not affirming son as transgender

"A Texas mother has threatened the father of their six-year-old son with a child abuse charge because he will not affirm their son is transgender.

According to a petition to modify the parent-child relationship brought by mother Anne Georgulas, her 6-year-old son, James, is a 'gender expansive or transgender child and, by choice, now goes by the name Luna.'"

4. THE FEDERALIST: Twitter permanently bans feminist for writing that 'men aren't women'

"Last week, the social media giant permanently banned Meghan Murphy, a writer based in British Columbia, for critiquing transgender ideology online. The platform repeatedly suspended her account for this then ultimately banned her last week, saying such behavior 'violated [its] rules against hateful conduct.' Here’s a sampling of tweets Twitter required Murphy to delete as 'objectionable' before allowing her access back to her account:"

5. LIVE ACTION: 'It is worth the effort': Doctor shows off baby saved by abortion pill reversal

“'Recently I did this delivery, and am sharing the picture with the patient’s permission,' he wrote. 'You see, when a woman takes the abortion pill, she often immediately regrets it. This patient did exactly that.'"

LORD, we pray over the affairs of our country. You instructed us to pray for our elected officials, and so we raise our hands before you in public petition. We pray for all our public officials, and in particular we pray for what is going on with the Board of Elections in the 9th congressional district. We pray that they may come to a clear decision, and that the election results may be certified. Grant our civil servants good health, humility, wisdom, and guidance.

LORD, as Congress is back in session this week and freshmen Congressmen are being oriented, we pray for a sense of your presence there in Washington. We pray for Mark Harris, that his election would be settled and his name restored. We pray our leaders will be sensitive to your voice and will be guided by your words as revealed in Scripture.  We also pray the same for our state General Assembly which is back in session this week and next. Give them a sense of the importance of their positions for advancing the principles of your Kingdom, not advancing the principles of the world. Give them courage to speak out on issues like life, marriage and family, and religious freedom, and to take action to protect those values which you clearly lay out in your Word.  And silence the voices of evil and bring their plans and schemes down.

We ask these things in the name of your Son, Jesus.
