Travel to the North Carolina General Assembly in Raleigh and gather to support the Human Life Nondiscrimination Act (HB345). Learn about the bill and meet other families across the state that support children with Down syndrome. We hope that North Carolina will join the leading edge of states enacting protections against the discrimination of unborn children. Read the Bill
Personally meet Katie Shaw, an Indiana woman with Down syndrome who is a powerful national advocate for life. She says God called her to tell everyone Psalm 139:14, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Meet your lawmaker and other Representatives in the State House to encourage them to support the bill. Enjoy lunch on your own schedule at the cafeteria or snack shop.
No one deserves to be discriminated against because of his or her race or disability. This is especially true of unborn children who are being marked for death just because someone has determined that they are the wrong race or have the potential or confirmed diagnosis of Down syndrome. We believe every child should have the chance to live a full, happy life.
