NC Values Statement on 2020 Election

NC Values Coalition congratulates Senator Thom Tillis on his re-election to the U.S. Senate and thank him for his work to confirm Justice Amy Coney Barrett and for being a leader on pro-life policies and family values. We also congratulate Congressmen Dan Bishop, Richard Hudson, Greg Murphy, Patrick McHenry, Ted Budd, Virginia Foxx, and David Rouzer for winning re-election to their seats in Congress, and we congratulate Madison Cawthorn for his election to the 11th Congressional District seat, making him the youngest member of Congress. We look forward to working with all of our leaders in Congress.

We are sad to see Dan Forest’s loss of the Governor’s race, as Lt. Governor Forest has been a strong champion for conservative values in our State. His winsome leadership style and strong positions on conservative policies will be sorely missed, and we know his calling to serve the people of North Carolina is not done. We congratulate Mark Robinson, Dale Folwell, Catherine Truitt, Steve Troxler, Mike Causey, and Josh Dobson for their election victories tonight to the Council of State.  We also congratulate Senator Phil Berger and Speaker Tim Moore for retaining conservative majorities in the General Assembly. Retaining these leaders certainly shows that this election was about restoring and growing our great North Carolina economy that has been built on the business and family-friendly policies adopted by the Republicans over the last ten years.”
