I am delighted to officially announce that Julie Scott Emmons has joined the team at NC Values Coalition as our new Vice President.
Julie most recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Mark Walker where she had a reputation and proven track record of working with others to champion solutions and advocate for causes and constituents across the state.
She is a lifelong advocate for persons with disabilities and has used every opportunity in her public and private life to advocate for the sanctity of life, because every human life has value. As a K-12 educator, Adjunct Instructor, and Academic Support Specialist for special education, and a current Trustee at Alamance Community College, Julie brings over 17 years of education experience and perspective to help work on education reform in North Carolina.
For over 30 years Julie has vigorously and passionately worked on pro-life, human trafficking, education, and justice reform across the state. Throughout her career Julie has served conservative candidates and elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels. Julie and her husband and family live in Alamance County.
Julie will work on our legislative priorities and lobbying efforts; oversee our development efforts, and help expand the footprint of NC Values around the state.
Please join us tonight at 7:30 pm for a special edition of the NC Values Voice to meet Julie Scott Emmons.
