We endorse Benton Sawrey for NC Senate District 10

Each year our coalition works toward advancing public policies that protect and promote family values by educating voters about the best pro-family candidates for public office.

Our team evaluates candidates using multiple factors, including responses to a questionnaire, candidate interviews, public position statements, and past voting records. We focus on finding men and women we believe to be the best candidates to stand strong in Raleigh and Washington D.C. for family values like protecting life, advancing religious freedoms, promoting school choice, and ensuring privacy and safety for our children.

Today we're excited to announce that we are endorsing Benton Sawrey for NC State Senate District 10.

Benton Sawrey is a strong leader and will be a staunch conservative voice in the State Senate. Sawrey’s opponent, Jill Homan, is an active National Board Member for the Log Cabin Republicans, which advocates for LGBT policies which erode the foundations of American society and culture in favor of recognition of all forms of sexual orientation. Her organization seeks to make the Republican Party ‘more inclusive on LGBT issues. Under Homan’s leadership, her organization seeks to restrict parents from protecting their own children who might be struggling with gender and sexual dysphoria by banning therapy. In the past this type of advocacy has led to revocation of parental rights and religious freedom. It's important for the voters of the 10th District which encompasses Johnston County, to know the truth about Homan, and to be represented by a leader like Benton Sawrey instead who shares their values on life, marriage, and family. We know Benton Sawrey will advocate for parental rights, traditional marriage, life, and religious freedom.

If you received an absentee ballot last week, or are planning to vote early at the start of one-stop voting on April 28th, would you consider checking out our NC Values Voter Toolkit and voting for Benton Sawrey for NC State Senate District 10 primary?
