The word “welcoming” sounds good, doesn’t it? It conveys being greeted with openness, hospitality, and acceptance. Like many other words, however, the word “welcoming” has been co-opted by LGBT groups as a signal for advancing their radical sexual agenda. That is why the nation’s largest homosexual and transgender advocacy group—the Human Rights Campaign—has named its newest curriculum “Welcoming Schools.”
The Charlotte Mecklenburg School System is using Welcoming Schools, and it is being implemented at twelve schools in the 2017-18 school year. It is being taught to children as young as Kindergarten. Under the guise of being anti-bullying curriculum, Welcoming Schools indoctrinates children to accept as normal and even to explore themselves transgender and homosexual behavior. What can you do? Attend the workshop to learn about the Welcoming Schools program, who is behind the curriculum, and how some of the themes are being adopted under the guise of anti-bullying curriculum in Charlotte and in Union County.
